It’s been a few years now since Joe Biden made his infamous appearance on Charlamagne Tha God’s “The Breakfast Club” and declared that black voters who didn’t support him weren’t authentically black. "If you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump, then you ain’t black,” Biden said at the time.
It wasn’t exactly the highlight of his campaign, but it was a sad reflection of how Democrats presume to have the moral authority to decide who is “really black” based on how they vote. They’ve been doing this for years with surprising success, as black Americans have overwhelmingly voted Democrat for decades. However, in recent years, the share of Republican-voting black Americans has increased, albeit gradually. Recent polling shows that in a Biden-Trump rematch in 2024, Trump could get over 20% of the black vote.

So imagine my surprise when Rep. Jamaal Bowman, a black Democrat from New York who couldn’t tell a fire alarm from a door handle, suggested this week that real Jews support a ceasefire in Gaza.
“I’ve heard what was said here this evening before, that, by me calling for a ceasefire with my colleagues and centering humanity, I am uplifting deeply what it actually means to be Jewish because I’m centering the way in which God wants us to live with each other, so I feel grateful to be standing here,” he said at a rally with a group called Rabbis for Ceasefire.

Bowman probably wouldn’t know hamantaschen from potato latkes, and yet he thinks he can lecture American Jews about what it means to be really Jewish? Is that not just as insulting as Joe Biden, an old white guy, lecturing black Americans about what makes them authentically black?
And the worst thing is that Bowman is taking a position that unless you believe Israel must do what Hamas wants, you’re not really Jewish. Hamas and its allies are literally trying to wipe out Israel and the Jewish people, and Bowman is lecturing Jews that they should essentially condone the genocide of their own people.
Hamas won’t stop attacking Israel and its people. This is a fight for survival, and Israel is choosing survival.
Just as black Americans are starting to question the lies of the left and leave the Democratic Party plantation, American Jews — another predominantly left-leaning voting bloc — are starting to wake up, too. Since the Hamas terror attack on Israel, liberal Jews have been tuning into Fox News in greater numbers to avoid the pro-Hamas propaganda they typically hear on the left-leaning stations they usually watch for news.
Bowman must think he's more Jewish than actual Jews.
